Does it cost anything to volunteer?
No. The Goodness Network is completely free to join and use. We will never ask you for payment.
How are goodness points calculated?
You earn points based on the completed donations made through your referral link. A portion of those points also cascades up to the volunteer who invited you — and to their inviter — with a decaying share per level, so everyone in the chain sees some reward.
Can anyone apply to become a volunteer?
Anyone 16 or older who believes in the cause can apply. Our team reviews every application and lets you know by email, usually within 1 to 3 business days.
What happens to donations made through my link?
They go directly to the campaign or cause the donor chose — 100% of them. Your volunteer status has no effect on how a donation is processed. You just get the recognition (and the points) for bringing that donor in.
What is a community, and how do community points work?
A community is a group of volunteers rallying around a single cause or campaign. When someone donates through the community's shared link, the points are split equally among all active members, so every contributor is rewarded together.
Are the marketplace rewards real?
Yes. We partner with vetted suppliers for physical goods and experiences. Donation-conversion rewards turn your points into a real donation made in your name, with a certificate to prove it. Digital badges and experiences are real too.
How long does approval take?
Usually 1 to 3 business days. We review each application carefully — this isn't an automatic signup. You'll get an email the moment we decide.
Can I close my volunteer account if I change my mind?
Of course. You can close your volunteer account at any time from your profile. Your existing points and donations are preserved in our records, but your public presence in the network is removed.
